Hello
My name is heather anderson and I am a volunteer at at community
radio station in Brisbane 4ZzZ. I have recently been asked to produce
a radio documentary for a series called "Keeping Mum", looking at
women's contribution to australia. The program I have been asked to
make is called "Contemporary Aboriginal Women Leaders".
Although I believe that the purpose of the doco is to highlight the
achievements of prominent indigenous women - I feel that this concept
of "leadership" is a very whitefella one. I have decided to take a
different approach and speak to indigenous women about the concept of
leadership and what it means to aboriginal cultures.
If you could refer me to any body you feel would be good to speak to,
that would be most appreciated
thank you
Heather Anderson
