I sat and read through all the e-mails first with the intention of replying
to them all - those that had related to my e-mails.
Until I came to this one from Sandy which said:

Thank you very much for making me feel like crap as a young person trying to
get a grasp of things happening in this country. If you are fed up with
having to 'educate' a newcomer then why did you even bother commenting??
I thought this was supposed to be a discussion group yet you are not even
willing to 'explain' (as you so put it) anything to me especially
considering I've been a member for, what, less than a week?!?!
At least everyone else has been fairly good in talking and discussing
things. I didn't realise I had been so 'antagonistic' that I'd offended you,
because I obviously did something wrong.
I just want to learn about things that I am very unclear about.
And I won't apologise for having my own opinion on things but I came to this
discussion group to learn. I've been reading all the e-mails with great
interest and thinking everything over and began asking some questions.
Now, after your nasty little e-mail - and that's exactly how it sounded -
I'm not so sure if this is such a friendly site after all. I thought
reconciliation was about recognising everyone's differences and learning
from one another so that we all understand better.
If you are not willing to give someone a bit of a go, then perhaps you
should not be on this site.
Why should I be tarnished with the same brush as the other two newcomers you
mentioned whom you obviously did not like (QUOTE FROM SANDY: This will be
the third time, and no good ever comes of it)
Sounds to me like you have just pre-judged me, and in a very negative way.
I'm sorry for wasting your time. Now I do now how Aboriginals feel.
