Friends,

In my own case I always use the term 'Aboriginal Peoples' when referring to
them. So far I have not needed to refer to Torres Strait Islanders except on
very few occasions and on those occasions have used the full title. I only
use acronyms such as ATSIC but only when referring to those organizations.
Neither do I use the word 'Aboriginality' as it sounds YUK to me.
Essentially, when referring to individual groups I try to use the language
group name.

These are conventions I made for myself, and are enunciated in the
Introduction of my Ph.D. thesis.
