How do I get removed from this list?

Thanks for the response.

For what it is worth, I have never seen Cygwin installation cause problems
with other activities.

I will try to monitor e-mail over the weekend, but I am traveling for a
few days.

Hi Patricia,

Thanks for initiation. It's my first time to collaborate with people
in
such big open source project. I think I need to spend time going through
the build steps/link you sent us first. I saw I need to install cygwin.
So,
i need to get another computer to make sure it will not mess up my current
one.
I am quite busy with my work during the weekdays, so hopefully I can
start doing something this weekend.

Thanks,
Chien

It is definitely not a prank - I proposed the list, so I should know. I'm
an AOO committer and PMC member. Very unfortunately, there has been a
limit
to how much I could share my activities for the last few months. I will
explain more later.

Right now, I think we have a suitable bug for an all-out team push, file
corruption during shutdown. See https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show
_bug.cgi?id=107558

My current hypothesis is that AOO thinks a file save is complete when it
is still running. The result is that actions that should wait until
completion, including deleting temporary copies and telling the user it
is
complete, are happening too soon. That is just a hypothesis - maybe
someone
can disprove it?

I have started trying to find relevant code in AOO.
main/sfx2/source/doc/guisaveas.cxx seems interesting.

To work actively on this, you need to build AOO for at least one
environment. I suggest following https://wiki.openoffice.org/wi
ki/Documentation/Building_Guide_AOO/Step_by_step

If you want to use a debugger, such as Visual Studio, and are building
for
MS Windows, add

           --enable-symbols \
           --disable-strip-solver \

to your configure parameters. If you are building for a different
environment, and need help enabling debug information, please let me
know.

We're all on this list for the same reason. Seems to be some kind of

Nobody responds.

I don't know what is going on for their system...
If you know, would you please let me know.
