Oh, I don't think anyone was being rude or mean. I just wanted to put my two cents in, that I don't mind getting emails in other languages.

Cheers all,

Hi Tyler,

John meant nothing by what he said, only that he didn't understand an email he thought directed at him… Still, I do agree with your view about allowing any dialect.  Though I think Pig Latin should be outlawed ;)

Don,

You need to install the Asian language support fonts. I have them on my system. I'd just like to say, I have no problem with people writing emails in other languages, sure I can't read them, but there may be others who can. I know some people have a hard time with English and I see no reason that those people shouldn't use their native language (it's better for them and may benefit others in a similar situation). It's easy enough for me to archive the mail away or delete it. Also, if code samples get posted, those are readable by everyone. Sure, I can't read the explanation, but I can read the code.

Just my thoughts,
  Tyler

You may contact with me personally using Chinese and I will be very glad to chat with you online. But here is a public mail list and not all guys here understand Chinese.  So please never send a thread like this...
