Just a doubt about ./red5.sh

When I run from shell its everything are working

But, when I close the terminal (shell)

My RED5 stops

Is there a way to keep running?

I recalled someone mentioned this before and said that it worked well even after closing the terminal. Maybe you can use 'nohup' but I may be wrong...

Juan

P.S.

When I open again the shell and type ./red5.sh

Server run again without problem

Finally its work on my Red Hat Linux ES Server box
And all test apps working.

To put it on work I want to mention some things:
(JUST TO NEWBIES LIKE ME)
First of all

Needs JDK1.5.0 installed and working I mean, environment vars too!
ANT version 1.6.5 working good
And before to build please check your TCP ports

You can do that using

# netstats -ant

And config the red5.properties ports and don't forget to config in every dir
on webapps every rwd5.properties files

Then

  # ant

# ./red5.sh

Check your apps on swf folder
And when green light it's on
Congratulations!

You are on the move!

P.S.
Check if its running using
# ps -auxww

To kill app
# kill -9 (PID)

All using (shell) with bash

I want to say thank you very much to all RED5 team
Especial thanks to Joachim (thanks for your patience)

If you see something wrong about my comments please write back
