Hi Gregory, The sound is disabled in the FITC video conference demo. We had a few too many problems with the sound using that many streams. That might explain why it's not working for you. ;-)
As for the video not working, sometimes you need to right click in the flash player and select "settings", then click on the webcam tab. There is a drop down there where you can select your camera. If your camera's not selected your video won't be captured. ;-). I know it's obvious, but might be worth checking out. If that's not it, please send a more detailed message about the problem, any log messages and instructions on how to recreate it.
