Hi Sir, I am now in discussion with On2 Technologies about licensing their new product: On2 Flix Engine.
Which enables you to take live stream in nearly any format and then transcode in realtime to RTMP stream. First price they told me was $50.000, so I told them: Gosh! It's too much. And second price was something about few thousands of bucks. But they also told me, that they will make the prices later this summer. So we have to wait. Is it possible to do live broadcasting to Red5 from source, different from flash movie in publish mode? I have a ready flv stream - ffmpeg writing flv file - and need subscribers to view it as live stream. Its simple to have this stream as stored/recorded to play by subscribers, but live.. I found a thread here about Tofu - RTMPT client, maybe it can be a solution? Read file and publish it through Tofu to Red5, something like it. But cant find any live link, think its not available now? Or maybe its possible to create a stream handler for Red5 which will publish from file as from live source? Dont need working solution now, but need to know is it possible at all to make decision :) Thanks! _______________________________________________ Red5 mailing list [email protected] http://osflash.org/mailman/listinfo/red5_osflash.org _______________________________________________ Red5 mailing list [email protected] http://osflash.org/mailman/listinfo/red5_osflash.org
