That's a pretty sneaky trick. Only downside, is that it seems it converts in realtime...that is a 5 minute FLV will take 5 minutes to convert. That's a bit of a downside.

We don't have the source, but it works pretty well.  Of course, to get
both video and audio, you have to grab the mp3 using flv2mp3 and get the
video using ffmpg and then marry the two again.  Our biggest hurdle was
to get the two in sync - bit rates were different causing timing issues.
