Hi, I just added experimental support for "directory-only" applications to the trunk. If you don't need any special functionality and just want to stream audio / video or use SharedObjects, it's sufficient to create a directory in the "webapps" folder. No need for any configuration files or Java classes!
You can access the application through the name of the directory, e.g. "webapps/myapp" can be reached at "rtmp://localhost/myapp". Please note that this feature is experimental, so you might get strange errors ;) or functionality may change for the next release. I'm sending this mail to get some feedback and find potential problems.
