On osx install jdk 1.5 if its not already installed.
Then download the tar.gz package and use that.
If you are not using eclipse you will want to compile with ant.
Ant can be downloaded or installed using darwin ports I think.

Sorry, how am I able to get the red5.jar file onto osx then, will it
load and compile the webapps ok if i copy the jar file over ? Ive just
tried to export the classes to a jar file from eclipse and isnt working
(on the pc).
