Hi thanks for the info
the real problem is this,
i have followed the video examples and have tried to copy the oflademo
to use as a basis for my application.
Every thing works fine and there seem to be no errors at all after
compiling.
but it gives an error when I connect to the server using the
oflademo.swf and changing the url to my application.

I wonder if there is any thing I am not paying attention to that might
be the problem.

Somehow I make the path to my package -
org.red5.server.webapp.switch instead of com.nvn.red5demo as in the
video.
I copy and paste the two classes - Application and Demoservice - into
my package.
I configure the xml files accordingly

I added a class path as is indicated in the video.

It just doesn't connect to the server when I try with the oflademo.swf
file.

I need help here!!!

I have been wondering what file is in the persistence folder and how can one have control over it. What does it do exactly?
It's found in the webapps/oflademo Application folder.

the "persistence" folder contains informations about scopes and shared
objects that are persistent. You can store for example configuration
data in a scope and query it any time, even if Red5 has been restarted.
