Not the best solution, but you can convert the flv files using the sound card. I just set this up recently for one of my own projects, in combination with Red 5.
One tool that can do this (and AFAIK apart from flv2mp3 the only one) is Total Video Converter: http://www.effectmatrix.com/total-video-converter/ It has a command line version (which only works with a valid license), runs only on Windows, and requires a sound card and the Flash IDE installed. Also, beware that it is probably the shittiest, worst programmed piece of software that I ever used. Here's the instruction I based it on: http://www.flashcomguru.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=1842&PN=1&TPN=3#8426 To convert 10 seconds of audio, it needs aprox. 2 seconds on my machine - this is ok for me, but might obviously not be for everybody.
