Thank you very much for this pursuit! It
my personal feeling that this project alone may lead Flash to new heights!
Having worked for some time with FCS/FMS, the interface to this project is
unbelievable. All the “wish list” items are there. It is friendly,
more powerful and downright cool!
Thanks again!

Subject: [Red5] Red5: One Year old
today!
Well, it was one year ago today that the Red5 Project officially hit
the OSFlash web space!
And man, what a year it's been. The server is coming up on 0.6 here soon,
we've presented Red5 to many audiences around the globe and really benefitted
from a tremendous amount of support form the flash and non flash communities.
The team we have in simply incredible - it's amazing that we can have
committers in China, Thailand, Germany,
Boston and NY
and they all somehow get it done and pull it together making it look like it
was the easiest thing they'd ever done. If you have a moment, please drop
these guys a line and thank them for their dedication. A year is a long
time and we've been through long road - they definitly deserve the praise and
appreciation!
The core development team (if I left your name off, please please let me
know!):
Luke Hubbard
Joachim Bach
Steven Gong
Dominick Accattato
Paul Gregoire
Marijan Miličević
Simon Eisenmann
Chris and I have been completely amazed at these guys ability to work together
and never have met face to face. Although, Luke's kinda unsightly, so
that's probably a good thing J/K!!! Just kiddingggggggg
There are a bunch of other people who've pitched in, given advice, helped us
get through some tough times and we wanted to say "Thank you! we
couldn't have gotten this far without the flash community!"
And a big thanks to Claus Wahlers - the inventor of the flux capacitor...which
makes time travel...no seriously, a huge thank you to him. He was absolutely
pivotal in our early days of research in hooking us up with the right people
(Mick Herres). Thanks Mick, for sitting down and giving us a brain dump
;) Your patience is VERY much appreciated!
Anyway, we're a year old today.
Rock on \m/
Happy Birthday Red5!
