Hi,

we have the standard red5 Install on a 2gb Linux(no memory adjustments just logging), Centos 4.3 Machine with sata disks. (this is also a web server so red5 is not alone here), to maintain memory health we restart red5 autoamtically at 4am (lots of dead connections pile up)

Users were from all around the world we have 6 live streams being published, however from time to time we have to restart red 5 server. It doesn t seem to be load related.

you can listen to the stream here www.antena760.com/envivo its in spanish!

This baby sucks a lot of bandwith although quality is low... its designed to run over a 56k modem

Please comment if you could connect successfully
Regards

Subject: Re: [Red5] 400 Simultaneous Connections

may I ask who these 400 users are?  Is this application available for the public or is this just metrics testing?  Thanks and very cool.

Great info.  Thanks for posting it.

What was the bitrate on each stream?  Was this live or playback of a
pre-recorded .flv?

Best Regards,
Bill
