One other thing I noticed: if I do stream audio as well as video, and the player (I'm using the one that comes with the FMS2 admin console) has the volume MUTED, then the video plays back perfectly. If I unmute the player it halts, mute it and playback resumes.

Also if unmuted and there's a player active, and sound is on and video doesn't progress in the player, FMS logs these messages: "FcNetStream dropped more than 100 i frames", which if I read this correctly means intermediary [video] frames are dropped by the client, which is what seems to be happening if you look at the player's output.

So how come sending audio causes the player to stop playing the i-frames? Beats 
me!
