Paul,

Thanks for your response.

I have reviewed the existing fla / swf  / flv samples from the trunk.

Actually they are all very good.

I have the ones from Jetty trunk running within Tomcat.

The red5 fla and actionscript code for these example are very good and so far has been easy
to follow. I am in no ways a Flash expert.

This is why I was wondering if there was a simple example floating around
anywhere that would show how to create an example like one of the flv's
in the Streaming folder that came with the Jetty stuff from the trunk.

The flv's work perfectly in Tomcat but I cannot seem to find the info (probably
my lack of understanding of the flash stuff) to be able to create an flv like one of the
samples in the trunk. For example one like SpiderMan or an mp3 example.

I checked Joachim migration guide but it appears that the streaming portion is not yet
published.

Anyway, thanks again for your response.

Regards,

Lenny

Thanks Lenny,
The media files are provided to demonstrate streaming of various types of FLV / MP3 encodings, they are easily displayed in the oflaDemo swf. There are a few FLA files in the trunk and Joachim has provided an excellent migration guide that you could use to create your own FLA files.
Lastly, Tomcat is my favorite container also... :)

First of all, thanks to the RED5 Team (Red5 0.6rc1 released!) for such a great product!!

Question.

Are any of the examples that appear in the streams folder available
via fla's.

While I am learning about Red5 Server with recording swf's to flv's,
I am still somewhat in the dark regarding an example like Spiderman3_trailer_300.flv

If none of the streaming items are available, could someone direct me to an example
such as those used in RED5 streaming folder.

Also, Thanks for the Tomcat piece in the Java Trunk. Works Great!!

Regards,

Lenny Sorey
