does Jrun run in a SecurityManager that doesn't let a webapp listen to ports? Weird stuff..

I don't have much experience with Jrun, but that is a possibility.

Also tested Tomcat 5.5.16 and that works..

Lenny,

My instance is almost the same but instead of using a single server instance, I have created a dedicated server instance and Red5 runs inside it (in /red5/ context-root) and it listen to port 8307.

Still don't understand why port 1935 is not listening. No error is reported on the logs.

Thank you for replying but still not working.

I have shutdown any other server instance but still with the problem. My Red5 Server instance is deployed under the context-root /red5 , can this cause any problem?

Also, my server instance is reachable through http://myserver:8307/red5/flvdemo.html with no problem.

Thanks,

João Fernandes

Hi there,

I deployed Red5 (war version) on a Jrun server instance. I can browse the initial html page but when I go to the flvdemo.html, I can't connect.

I get this:

(41406) connected?: true

(43485) NetConnection.onStatus:

  level = error

  code = NetConnection.Connect.Failed

I'm trying to connect to rtmp://myserver/red5/oflaDemo.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

João Fernandes
