This may not be the same problem but I have been having problems with our server that is used purely for flv streaming. After several hours of moderate usage the memory climbs to about 1.7gigs (there is 2gigs in the server) and will stop serving streams. My player is still able to connect and receive metadata information but no audio/video is sent. This continues until I manually shutdown the server and restart it. I don't think the files are that large though, just a good number of concurrent connections. Perhaps this is related since it seems to be a memory issue?

Thanks,

Ok woah the file in particular the problem, is 230MB at 768kbps encode, so ive managed to tweak the ram settings for files over 50MB, now we have an issue with files over 200MB or more :D Im not the content producer so i cant dictate how large these files have to be, they are just run through the squeeze batch on2 VP6 encodes.
