I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but we had a minor
problem starting the standalone server on Linux. It threw an error that
" usr/local/red5/webapps/red5-default.xml" was not available or not a
file or directory.

We added a symbolic link in /usr/local/red5/ folder called usr pointing
to /usr and it started working. Apparently there's a reference to a
relative path somewhere - or we were invoking it from the wrong place.
