I have noticed the wording on the installer could be confusing

You have chosen to install this software in the folder "Red5" on the  
volume "Macintosh HD."
- this suggests installing on the root - but this installs to the  
Applications folder in a folder called Red5

You can choose the folder to install into
Destination folder : Red5
- if you choose a location it will just throw in the files to your  
destination I think it should still create a folder called Red5
