It looks like i'm having problems to send mails to the list, let's see if replying works (!)

Hi everyone.

As i told you in other mail i'm doing some tests of red5 0.6rc1, specially for multivideoconferencing. We're running red5 under winXP and accessing it thorugh LAN. Perfomance is great while everything is ok but at some point (mainly when there are some disconnections and reconnections) users randomly can or cannot see or listen to each other while they still can use the chat box.
Has anyone else noticed this problem? I don't know if this is some bug in the demo or is a server issue, if someone could point me where to look i could try and have a look.
Someone at the forum have the same issue using his own client app, and he's "solving" it by delaying between a disconnection and the next connection, but since the red5 demo is everywhere event-oriented i cannot find the way to do so (also i'm so new to action script so perhaps it's simple and easy but i'm just too blind).

If you guys need any more info just ask for it, any help is highly appreciated.

regards:

Carlos

The comment that you are talking about in the video conference demo
was due to a problem in previous versions. And you are right, it
probably works a whole lot better now with the latest release.

Please let us know how your testing goes.
