But by the way, I really think a getting started guide could be pretty
short. The document you pointed me too in the last email was very
pretty but really ambitious. I think for now you could just cover.

1. turning it on and setup

2 a page or two on theory of operation. Not about servlets, but scopes
and other red5 concepts from a layman's perspective.

3. A few walk throughs of simple hello world apps for like a simple
recorder and a simple chat.

It could mirror the similar documentation for the equivalent apps that
come with FMS. Their doc gives some good examples of how to write
simple apps. The big difference is that there is a differences in the
red5 metaphor and writing in java and the FMS metaphor and writing in
as1.

In fact, if this task was parcelled out, one person writing about
setup, another, doing theory/conceptual overview, and then two people
documenting two simple demo apps you could really have something. It
would be really great, and no one would have to feel burdened. Just a
thought.
