Hey guys,

I'm in the beginning of a big project and I'm thinking about using Red5 to implement it.

It's a website gueared toward shows and night parties. It has useful information for those who want to go out and
have some fun on the city and also collection of albuns with pictures taken in these parties (lots of hot women btw :P).

What we want to do now is go a step further and offer live video streamming from the shows. The user would log in and see
how's the party at that right moment!

We would record this video and edit it at a latter time and offer a download to the users.

I'm not sure about which server hardware/architecture would be needed but, I imagine something like this:

* A server at each "show-house" (the site where the party is being performed) which would run red5. This server would of course be connected
to the internet. We would have several video cameras connected to the server somehow and the server would be constantly recording the video (I imagine I would need plenty of space for this).
* The server where my flash application is hosted, this wouldn't necessarilly need red5 as the app back-end is currently implemented in PHP.
* The client would access my website, the flash app would then connect to the red5 servers at the respective show-houses.

I know it is quite a simplistic that's why I ask for some insights about this subject :)

Any suggestion would be greatly appreacitaded!

Congratulations for the great work you've been doing so far with Red5!

Marcelo.
