metadata is fine here see previous explanation, i get blotchy coloured framed video for a few seconds after the video title has displayed though.

its either a flex problem or a red5 problem.

Be careful with r18 though - I had some issues with metadata event not firing in r18 and had to rollback to r16 for this local app I'm writing.  I thought that was kinda weird that it was broken in the beta player like that.

Sorry guys ! yes i had r16 from my flex install :) installed updated plugin for osx works perfectly, ive been waiting for this feature :)

John Grden wrote:
you have to have r18 beta version of the Flash9 player to see it from what I understand.  Not sure about how it works in the browser, but you are supposed to be able to use it in standalone player for certain.

i think there has been a misunderstanding here, when i mean fullscreen i actually mean fullscreen not enlargen video that wont really work in the contraints of a website to begin with.

If anyone has ever tried clicking a fullscreen option from a windows media plugin in a browser (pc only), you'd know what i mean, it actually brings it up fullscreen into the display, and escape will bring it back to normal, this new flash feature isnt exiting at all :)

already working on it ;) Thing is, it's beta, so we have to replace

playerglobal.swc and that sometimes is a problem with other development

Dan Rossi said the following:

<mx:DateFormatter id="playHeadTimeFormat" formatString="NN:SS"/>

private function

updatePlayHead(event:TimerEvent):void

{
playHeadTime.setMinutes(0,ns.time,0);
preloadBar.playHeadTime.text =
playHeadTimeFormat.format(playHeadTime).toString();
}

Yup it doesn't work with hours... or I couldn't make it work

maybe playing with this format, theoretically im setting it as

minutes, and

then it formats the hours from minutes

<mx:DateFormatter id="playHeadTimeFormat"

formatString="HH:NN:SS"/>
