Subject: Re: [Red5] Shared Object class and onSync no working....

hey Chase, I was just working with the SimpleChat application yesterday and it worked just fine (it uses the GlobalObject class).

I'm including the 2 main classes that the simple chat uses.  Check out BasicChat.as as it has the code for using the GlobalObject class.

Let me know if this clears it up.  Are you adding a listener for the "onSync" event?

Hi all -

I am working with some shared objects, and I cant get them to work!  I
using the class GlobalObject.as that came with .6rc1 and it is still not
working.  In GlobalObject, connect function I get a true return for my
connection.  But when I call the setData function from anywhere, it does
not call the onSync function.  That is where everything breaks down, is
when I call the setData function it does not call the SO onSync
function!  What could be causing this, I cant figure it out....

Thanks for help in advance

Cheers,
Chase
