After having a fairly spirited week of discussion about Documentation and
the team structure, we'd like to make clear the structure.

First, I want to thank Michael for stepping up and getting involved. We may
not always agree, but we all can appreciate each other's initiative and
desire to help. And quite honestly, without him putting a fire under our
butts, we might not be having these discussions and getting underway right
now.

Hank Williams has agreed to lead the effort and Project Manage the
Documentation group. Hank's expertise in java and flash, along with a keen
understanding of the target audience of Red5, makes him the perfect fit.
He's also had quite a bit of experience in Documentation efforts like this
for other projects at this level. Having a "lead" for the group is essential
in coming out with consistent, well targeted, documentation.

Anyone who wants to be involved with helping with docs will go through
Hankand he will be in charge of:

1. The members and delegating responsibilities
2. Editor and QA processes - IE: reading everything that is written and
delegating help as needed to accomplish this task.
3. Maintaining a look/feel/readability of the docs for Red5 (Rebbecca will
be involved in getting the look of our docs underway with Hank) - goes with
#2 really

If you have any questions/concerns, please let us know

Thanks all,

John
