Hey Sam, the way Xray works is, you have an interface, and you have a
connector. The connector needs to be either published with the SWF as a
component OR loaded externally by your application.

The simplest way to use it is with the flash IDE and install the component
and drag xray onto your stage or library, then publish your SWF. Then the
Xray interface can recieve any trace statements or can take snapshots of
your application.

Based on your email, I'm wondering if you think the Xray interface is for
use with Red5 as an admin panel. It's not ;) it's for debugging Flash
applications.

We're working on getting a Flex2 Admin panel together for Red5.

Dear All,

How do I open up the Xray Admin interface on the sample swfs? I've got
v0.6 RC1 and when I open up xray.swf or xrayconnector.swf
, all I see is blank. What am I missing?

Thanks.

Sam
