I figured when if / when they update the flash player to do VOIP they will probably add new speech codecs. Time will tell I guess.

RTP is responsible for voice delivery and what everyone really need is an alternative to Nelly Moser's ASAO codec. SIP and RTP can be easily developed on your own or "taken" from free projects.
