Red5 is still in development. I also am new to Red5, but do have 
experience with FCS/FMS. You really need to understand how RTMP works 
(besides the fact that it runs on port 1935).

To expect people who are working on making something so robust is rather 
an insult to the people giving this to you (their work) as an open 
source model.

You could go pay thousands for FMS if you want people who are going to 
provide you with lots of documentation and support.

But for something like this....they are building the blueprints for the 
house, you are expected to know how to build it and furnish the home.
