Thanks Ruben and Joseph. That was it, my firewall was blocking Red5 service. Once I allowed ports 5080, 1935 I have a streaming server:-) One more thing, do we need any other ports to be unblocked for Red5 streaming? I saw a reference to ports 1936, 1945 and 8088 in one of the configuration files (~/conf/red5.properties).
