did you run an external port scan?
If not, try : http://secwatch.org/?page=probe
and specify '1935' as your custom probe port.

Seems I have the same problem.
As far as possible, I think I have set all my config files but I can
only access red5 internally and not from the internet outside.
I set up the red5-web.properties file to point to my ip address and
ports 1935, 8088
I am  however not sure if it is correct.
Any help would very much be appreciated
