broadcast powerpoint? ermm. i dont think red5 has the macromedia
breeze like screen sharing capability, but  i guess you can convert
your PPT into a swf ( or FLV? ) and then send it over your webserver.

I doubt even a single FMS server can handle that many users with the
video resolution you want. perhaps a cluster of them with a large
number of FAT internet pipes... Maybe if you run multiple red5 servers
and load balance the entire set up somehow ( I have no idea....)
