Do you have any application/firewall blocking ports on the red5 server
machine? If you are using trunk version of red5 ensure ports 1935(rtmp
port) and 5080(http port)
are open in your red5 server firewall to connect from LAN.

Hi,

But I do not open any connection before using rtmp://127.0.0.1/sample
and it is not working, but rtmp://localhost/sample does (locally).
Also I can not connect to the sample by using my internal lan IP
rtmp://192.168.1.xx/sample
It seems that I have to configure red5 to allow connections from "outside"?

Thx
radioon
