Hi, what do you think about transmitting the id3 metadata information (at least id3v1) in the onMetaData event for mp3 NetStreams? I believe this would be a very nice feature since it allows the client to implement a "now playing" feature with very little overhead.
Since the server has to process the file before sending the onMetaData info anyway, the overhead on the server shouldn't be noticeable. Are there any side effects this could have? If not I would try to implement this myself. bye, Sebastian Hartte
