i think you can't kill red5 server process in Eclipse. I guess you run red5
server with ant in Eclipse, like right click "server" task in outline view
with build.xml. so eclipse start 2 process : One javaw process for run
ant in eclipse. second: a java process for red5 server.

if you use windows, after you stop the server in eclipse console view, you
can open "task manager", and terminate the java process who like use about
30M memory, this is the red5 server process(or some way you can judge which
java.exe process the red5 server use).

so you dont need to restart eclipse.

Good Luck:)

Yeh you prob had more than a few debug threads open. If you go into debug
view , its in the top right hand corner, u can see how many processes you
had running and shut them down i guess ?

The little red square near the console bottom right. Or in debug view
press little red square next to the top thread or something like that.

Hi,

When I build an red5 at first…everything is ok. But when I build at
second, an exception is throw, because ports are bind already, …or something
like this… My answer is, how can I stop a running server from eclipse IDE? I
am newbie, so sorry for so stupid answer. Now, I have to close eclipse and
manually kill all java services J and start eclipse again

Thanx
