Well if there isn't space then you'd have a hard time copying it anywhere. You could check your disk usage by using the command "df".

Jake, After I download, chmod and execute jdk1.6.0 and try to move it to usr/java/jdk1.6.0 the command prompt replies by stating that there is not enough free space on that drive. When I do a whereis java command, the shell prompt returns: /usr/bin/java /usr/share/java Do you have any suggestions on where I should move the jdk.1.6.0 directory and files to?
