Hi,
oops, my mistake, it is indeed the .close() method, there is no
.stop() method as you said. I'm using flex too. In my application, I'm
using the UUID tool to generate random strings as the stream names so
there is no conflict. so basically my workflow is like:
1) generate a streamname
2) publish stream
3) tell the other side the new streamname through a shared object function
4) the other side subscribe to the stream
