John,

I'm not sure if we are talking about the same thing or not. It is
probably because I don't really understand all that is going on behind
the scenes since I am new to so much of this.

What I am wondering is if you could provide a version in which all of
the Java classes are already compile instead of having to run Apache
ANT to run the build and compile (I am assuming that is what is
happening because when I run ant it says that files are being compiled
using the JDK)? In other server applications all I have to do is
download and untar the file, then run/execute an install script (such
as ./installFMS, as an example).

I am also assuming that we are required to run ANT and compile
everything is because Red5 is open source and therefore the files are
not compiled so that we can get at the source. However, some other
open source apps that I have used the source files as one download and
the executable version in another download.

Again, I don't really understand all that is going on and what I have
said may derive from my lack of understanding. If so, please forgive
me, I am still learning.

Thanks,
Aaron
