Hi Brane,
      I'm also trying to make a video-chat, actually I already have a
working version. I had to solve the same problem as you, namely the 12
connection bug which I worked around by using a "connectionmanager"
class to create connections when one expires.
I have tested my application with about 8~9 people using only
voice streams and so far it runs pretty stable, ( I was able to keep
it up for 2~3 days before it crashes), I'm running it as a war
deployed in tomcat.
I believe the bug you mentioned about disconnecting all the
clients was mentioned before on this list ( I read it somewhere ). But
I think it was also mentioned that the disconnection only occurs after
7000+ connections was made.
A few days ago there was another discussion about the 12
connection bug which you reported. I made some efforts to debug this
12 connection thing because it was really getting on my nerves but
didn't come to any useful conclusions. Luke ( one of the core
developers) seem to have pin pointed the problem in that thread.
There was also someone who mentioned that with the java 6 and Mina
update a lot of bugs could be fixed now, did you try that?
I would be interested in working with you since both of us are
developing applications of similar nature and we can help & learn from
each other =)
