Sorry to push this question but we need to settle on a solution ready in time for the hatching of the birds. unfortunately we cant ask them to wait :)
So, does anyone have any test results of how many streams they could run concurrently and what their hardware spec is, os etc.? I've searched the archives and the best i can find is Daniel Daley saying he has run 250 - 300 clients and that there is a memory leak problem. There was also a very old thread where Rob Terrell said he would be running some load tests but from what i've found nothing came of it (I'd like to be wrong though) From the looks of things its really not feasible to use Red5 for this project, unless someone can persuade me otherwise. Or, can anyone offer a resounding 'not gonna happen right now' so I can tell the higher decision makers its not on. thanks for any input, Martin Martin Wood-Mitrovski wrote: > Hello, I would like to deploy Red5 as part of a project that we run every > year > for schools streaming live video of Birds nesting/hatching. _______________________________________________ Red5 mailing list [email protected] http://osflash.org/mailman/listinfo/red5_osflash.org
