Hmm.. I think that's probably taking things a step too far. They are not talking about flash video in that question. I read it as we are partnering with the osflash community. This is just some exec talking. Lets not read anything into it. The bit I find funny is the Q & A above.. "What companies like about [streaming Flash video] is that because it's streamed, they have the protection that they want, and their content can not be pirated." Double Hmm... security through semi-obscurity isn't really protection, but no harm in them spinning it that way I guess. Its good for everyone that Macromedia stayed away from DRM. If they had added it, we probably wouldnt have flash video all over the web as we do today.
