Same issue here! Any suggested solutions?

When attempting to install the latest version on windows:

First I uninstalled red5 rc1.
I downloaded JRE 1.6.0 and entered the following when prompted for JRE:

C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0

And I get the following error:

The path you selected is invalid. Please make sure a java.exe exists
inside the 'bin' directory and the version is 1.5 or 1.6

I also select:

C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0\bin

and

C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0\bin

each continue to have the same error as above.

Please advise.
