Hi! I think that I didn't have to call .publish(false) but to be honest I don't remember it anymore... because I've uninstalled FMS2 some time ago. But in the FMS CS AS Dictionary I've found that:
NetStream.Publish.BadName Error The client tried to publish a stream that is already being published by someone else. ----- Original Message ----- From: Steven Gong To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, February 13, 2007 4:54 PM Subject: Re: [Red5] NetStream.Publish.BadName when user tries to create astream with the same name Hi, On 2/13/07, Stanislaw Fiedor <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Hi! I get the:Error #2044: Unhandled NetStatusEvent:. level=error, code=NetStream.Publish.BadName error when trying to publish a stream with the same name. I understand that this error should occur when an other client tries to create a stream with the same name, but IMHO it shouldn't occur when the old publisher of the stream publishes a new stream under the same name. I'm not sure but as I remember this error didn't occur in FMS2. Have you unpublish the stream with publish(false)? Or in FMS2, a stream need not to be unpublished?
