----------------------------- We just finished another test using the same hardware, Internet connection, and the same publisher/subscriber Flash movies as earlier today, except we turned off Red5 and turned on FlashComm Server using the same application.
The result on the lag was exactly the same as with Red5. After about 2 hours, the delay on audio and video (together, in sync) was approximately 10 seconds. The same as with Red5. That's the good news. The bad news is that FlashComm never lost the publisher stream, even after 3 and 1/2 hours. So, while it doesn't rule out the Internet connection as the problem on that part of the test under Red5, it doesn't rule out Red5 as the problem either. Any feedback on how we might improve our test is welcome. --------------------------------- That was exactly what i thought i should do while reading this thread. Thanks for testing, Bill. So i guess that 2 hours is all the time anyone needs to do a videoconference hehe. Anybody has any clues why is this happening? If no matter which the server is it should be a client (flash) issue, right? Any site with FlashPlayer known bugs? (doubt it but who knows?) Cheers Carlos
