Yes, Red5 manage rooms. I suggest you to have a look at red5 API (javadocs) and look for IScope interface (and related sub or superinterfaces) and the IClient and related ones as well. And look at appconnect/join/close roomConnect/Join/Disconnect... methods in AplicationAdapter. You'll find pretty much what you need with those.

It should work as follows: - default scope: user should get a list of all available rooms so he can choose one - room scope: user is in a room and can chat with other users and eventually they can go private - private room: user can enable their webcam and chat.
