Thanks,
but, everything remains the same. I tried it on my debian machine, too. And
got the same results. Am I doing something generally wrong?
I have Red5 0.6rc1 installed. My Javaversion on Debian is 1.5 and is
detected properly.
ant gives the following output:
compile:
[echo] Javac version: 1.5
[echo] Compiler adapter name: ${build.compiler}
[echo] java.home is /usr/local/java/jdk1.5.0/jre and the target version
is 1.5
compile_core:
[echo] java.home is /usr/local/java/jdk1.5.0/jre and the target version
is 1.5
compile_core_compatibility:
BUILD FAILED
/usr/lib/red5/build.xml:150: The following error occurred while executing
this line:
/usr/lib/red5/build.xml:303: srcdir "/usr/lib/red5/src" does not exist!
Some other questions: ;)
What exactly is done by the ant server?
It compiles my application, what else? Why have I use ant?
I do not understand the interaction between ANT and Red5.
Thanks a lot
Max

Try what joseph wamicha said on another thread, then:
ant -Djava.target_version=1.5 server
