cami - Sample configs, and commandlines would be of great help. Would love to see what you're using, and try them out on our webcams. From the example ffserver.conf, It seems pretty straight forward. I'm still looking up all the options I need on the ffmpeg line to tell it to read the rtsp://cameraip-stream/ and spew it over to the ffserver for re-encoding. No problem in letting ffserver do the actual streaming, once I can figure out how to access from web page. I suppose from that point people can also figure out how to use ffmpeg to stream it to red5... (in trying to keep on topic, as this isnt the ffmpeg list).

Iwas so stupid and tested it on my laptop, encoding, streaming and displaying it in a swf... so my cpu was nearly dead :-) - but it worked... We've got a project which must be able to stream from webcams. So I will test this with webcams as soon we've got them... but this will take a week or to. Mabe someone has a public IP from a webcam to test this dunno . cami.
