If you have access to to the Live Transmission use a Regular Capture card
and feed it to a Computer, You can then send it to RED5 and from Red5 To the
rest of the world.

Subject: [Red5] live streaming....

So, since it is impossible to use ffmpeg to create a working live swf
stream, does that mean red5 can't do it either, since from what I can find,
it would normally use ffmpeg to encode? So the only "solution" is to drop
$4000 for FMS? Or is there some other product out there? So far, I've
tried vlc, ffmpeg, ffserver, and darwin streaming server (only streams to
quicktime).

If re-encoding a live mpeg4 stream to swf/flv is indeed possible, please
post a working example (or send me something off list). I've been seaching
the net, mailing lists, forums, IRC, etc.. for the past two weeks trying to
do this, to no avail. I'm not even sure FMS can do it, so its a bit scary
to throw away that kind of money on an unknown. Sure, it SAYS it can do it,
but so do all the other packages.
