Hi, I ve spend 1 year following how Red5 was becoming a great project (we currently use for video content production) and I recently dig into customizing Red5 application like oflaDemo. Yeah, the API is excellent to make FDS-like applications (despite FDS is more simple) : we can make 'real-time web' (as Christophe Coenraets says) and especially synchronizing datas between JEE server and Flash client (comet approach).
My only question, what's Adobe is thinking about such a useful and concurrent project ? I ask Coenraets and he reply : "As part of the dev team, I d say it helps to spread Adobe technology but Adobe's lawyers think differently". Did you have troubles with Adobe ? The RTMP protocol isn't open-source, is it ? Thanx for your job. Philip On 16/04/07, . m a r c o s a u g u s t o <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
